Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Make in India" campaign is a proven success with over 3,015,222 likes on its Facebook page and 2,69,000 followers on Twitter since its launch just three months back.

The "Make in India" campaign was introduced by Prime Minister Modi with the aim of changing the mindset of the public, and getting them to tap their entrepreneurial potential. The campaign is unmatched by any other government initiative on the digital platform.

According to an unofficial statement from the government, the "national programme designed to transform India into a global manufacturing hub" has already touched over 2.1 billion global impressions on social media. The statement went on to add that the "Make in India" Facebook page adds a new member every 3 seconds, a feat that has not been achieved by any other department of the government.

The initiative has appealed to many youths, who are coming forward with entrepreneurial ideas for their choice products. Arun Mathew, for example, who is interested in starting an Ayurvedic company says: "Hi..i am planning to start a Ayurveda manufacturing company ..under make in India..what are the criteria required for it, please advice me how to start..."

"Make in India", since it beginning, has focused on attracting global businesses to invest and manufacture in India with an aim to make the subcontinent a global manufacturing hub thereby heralding a phenomenal economic growth in the country.
