Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will wrap up his first visit to China after coming to power with a reception by the local Indian community in Shanghai on Saturday. 

Modi first visited Xi'an, Chinese President Xi Jinping's hometown, and then travelled to Beijing, where the two countries signed record agreements worth $10 billion. 

On Friday, Modi met the top brass of China Inc, in Shanghai, including Alibaba's Jack Ma and Xiaomi's Lin Bin. 

After his China trip, Modi will head to Mongolia, the first trip ever for an Indian Prime Minister, and then to South Korea. 

The Indian community has arranged a special reception for Modi at Shanghai's ICBC World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre. More than 5,000 Indians have gathered for the event organised by the Indian Association of Shanghai.
