In the wake of lynching of a man in Alwar over alleged cow smuggling, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said, "Lynching cases are increasing as the elections are nearing." The former Railways minister added that the Dalits and OBCs are strong, and the Modi government had started off a campaign to divide the society.
A man was allegedly beaten to death by a mob in Rajasthan's Alwar. The incident took place in Ramgarh village of Alwar on the night of July 20. He was beaten up on suspicion of cow smuggling.
