Bangalore, July 22 (ANI): With furore over the rape of a 6-year old girl still on, MN Reddi took charge as the Commissioner of Bangalore. The case took a toll on the previous commissioner Raghavendra H Auradkar and additional commissioner of police (law and order) Kamal Pant who were transferred on Monday. The officials are replaced by Reddi and IGP (grievances and human rights) Alok Kumar respectively. Reddi maintained that the security of women is priority and that their problems will be addressed systematically.
