For this year's Miss World contestants, the two-hour grand finale will be a life-changing experience. The winner will travel the world, stand for various causes and understand the schisms that affect the underprivileged. For many, this is truly an honour.
As the event inches closer, we predict a list of five people who will most probably make it to the semi-finals and may perhaps emerge as the winner of Miss World 2015.
Here's our list:
Miss Russia Sofia Nikitchuk: This Russian beauty is poised well to win. According to reports, she is one of the bookies' favourite contestants this year. The model, who describes herself as a foodie and a lover of music, is among the Top 30 contenders for "Top Model" and has also won a spot among the top 10 contestants for the "People's Choice Award".
Miss Poland Marta Pałucka: Poland's entrant for this year's Miss World is a beauty who best fits into the categories the Miss World Organisation often looks for. According to Missosology, she is the prototype Miss World.
Miss India Aditi Arya: This research analyst from New Delhi is graceful, mature and may just win the hearts of judges. She is among the top 10 finalists for the People's Choice Award, Top Model and has a place in the World Fashion Designer Dress.
Miss Australia Tees Alexander: One cannot forget the interesting and dazzling looks of the Australian contestant. Alexander is certainly a strong contender for the title. However, it remains to be seen if she can stamp her identity among a plethora of other talented, beautiful women.
Miss Philippines Hillarie Parungao: According to Missosology, a website dedicated to covering beauty pageants, this year's Miss Philippines bears a great resemblance to previous Miss World winner Megan Young. She's beautiful, sweet and very elegant, claims the website. However, it remains to be seen if she will emerge victorious since the political spat between China and the Philippines may defeat her hopes.
