The 7th Royal Stag Mirchi Music Awards, powered by Idea, was attended by many B-town celebs and musicians at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri on Thursday, 26 February.

The grand event witnessed the presence of many celebs, including Bollywood actresses Madhuri Dixit, Alia Bhatt, Javed Akhtar, Alka Yagnik, Surveen Chawla, Divya Dutta, Tisca Chopra, Rashmi Desai, Tia Bajpai, Sophie Choudry, Sriram, Surveen Chawla, Poonam Pandey, Rakhi Sawant, Subhash Ghai and Ayushmaan Khanna, among others.

Hosted by Aditya Narayan and Karishma Tanna, many musicians and singers, including Shankar Mahadevan, Benny Dayal, Chinmayi, Anu Malik, Aditya Narayan, Amit Trivedi, Shaan, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, Hard Kaur, Kanikaa Kapoor, Shibani Kashyap, Usha Uthup, Sonu Nigam, Neha Kakkar, Sonu Kakkar and others also attended the most prestigious music awards.

Palak Muchhal, Usha Uthup, Benny Dayal, Shankar Mahadevan, Shruti Pathak and others also performed during the gala night.

The grand award night will be aired on Zee TV at 8.30 pm on 22 March.

Best Composers — Shankar-Ehsaan Loy for "Mast Magan" ("2 States")

Best Background Score — Vishal Bharadwaj for "Haider"

Best Song Engineering — Satchith Harve & Praveen Muralidhar  for "Manwa Laage" ("Happy New Year")

Best Male vocalist — Arijit Singh for "Samjhawan" ("Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania")

Best Female vocalist — Nooran Sisters for "Pata kha Guddi" ("Highway")

Upcoming Male Vocalist Gulraj Singh "Pakeezah" from "Ungli"

Upcoming Music Composer Raj-Prakash for "Arziyaan" from "Jigariyaa" 

Best lyricist — Irshad Kamil for "Manwa Laage" ("Happy New Year")

Upcoming Lyricist —Rashmi Singh for "Muskurane (Romantic) from "Citylights"

Actress Madhuri Dixit was also felicitated by her mentor Subhash Ghai during the award function.

Indi Pop Song of the Year — "Rab Jaane" sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan
