Minecraft: Pocket Edition gets update 0.9.0.Facebook

4J Studios, developers of the game Minecraft has revealed that the game is currently in its testing phase and will roll out for PlayStation 3 soon. The PS3 version of the game has moved ahead of the PlayStation 4 version, which was expected to release along with the console this month but has now been delayed.

"We're hard at work getting Minecraft: PS3 Edition ready for testing just now. The other platforms & TU14 will be later," the studio said on Twitter.

It was in August 2013 that Minecraft was announced for Sony consoles PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

While fans were eager to get their hands on the game along with the PS4 console, 4J Studios has confirmed the delay in their tweet "No, it won't be a launch title," it said.

The developers are also currently unsure about the release date of the game for PS4.  "No confirmed dates yet - we'll let you know when we have dates for the other platforms," it tweeted in reply to a fan's question.

Presently the game is exclusive on Xbox 360 consoles and has sold over 8 million copies. The game will be releasing for Xbox One soon.
