Baramullah/ Srinagar, Dec 05 (ANI): Militants on Friday opened fire at 31 field regiment Army camp in Baramullah district of Jammu and Kashmir. The attack by the militants is ongoing as firing continues in the Uri sector of the district. Meanwhile earlier on Thursday, unidentified militants hurled a grenade at the house of apolitical leader_s relative in Jammu and Kashmir. The ill-fated house belonged to Bashir A Wahi, who is relative of People_s Democratic Party (PDP) leader Tariq Hameed Karra, in Srinagar. Security forces immediately rushed to the place and cordoned off the area. Nobody was injured in the attack. The Himalayan region is one of the world_s most militarised zones, with India deploying more than 1.3 million troops to quell the rebellion that triggered off in 1989.
