Jammu, Feb 23 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah said that militancy in the state had come down by 70 percent in the last five years. The Kashmir region has witnessed numerous militant attacks, insurgency and infiltration attempts from across the border in the last two decades. The chief minister said he would work for the revocation of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) that gives security forces sweeping powers to search, arrest or shoot people.
