American actress Mila Kunis has revealed her husband Ashton Kutcher had encouraged her to take the role in her new movie The Spy Who Dumped Me. The 34-year-old actress has admitted that she had almost turned down the offer to be with her family.

During an appearance on Sunday Today with Willie Geist, Kunis shared about the opportunity she got for the action-comedy film. She said: "I initially passed. My husband and I made an agreement a long time ago that we would never separate the family."

She added: "I said no, and it was actually my husband that was like, 'I think you should really do it.'"

Kunis, who married Kutcher in July 2015, first met her husband on the sets of their hit TV series That '70s Show. Although they didn't date while filming the sitcom, years after the show wrapped the two started dating. Now, they are parents of a daughter, Wyatt, 3, and son, Dimitri, 1.

Adding on, during the conversation Kunis shared if she and Kutcher would ever work together again. She shared: "Probably not going to happen. I can't look at him and not be like, 'What are you doing?' It's like a weird... No. No. It's weird."

Kunis added: "In a scene with him, I was like, 'I see you acting.' I can catch it. And he looked at me like, 'What's that face you made?' We can't be in a scene together because you can catch each other on their weird shticks, so to speak."

Recently, Kunis shared how she deals with constant reports of marriage troubles and rumours she is pregnant with her third child.

She told Cosmopolitan "I don't read anything about myself. I genuinely don't know what's written about me...other than I know that I'm pregnant about once a year and my husband and I are getting a divorce once a year. I know this because I go down the grocery store aisle, and I see it on the cover of magazines and I'm like, Oh boy, okay!"

The Bad Moms star revealed her loved ones are always the victims of this false news. She shared: "The only thing that's upsetting is my parents and my grandparents sometimes get confused."

"At one point when I was pregnant, [the tabloids] said that I had an emergency and was rushed to the hospital, and my face was on the cover. The amount of stress that caused my family, nobody will understand," she confessed.
