An un-named Xiaomi tablet has been reportedly spotted at a popular performance testing site, revealing key specifications of the slate.
Technology blog, Gizmobic while sifting through GFXBench database, has stumbled upon the yet-to-be released Xiaomi device codenamed 2014811. It features a 9.2-inch HD (1280x720p) display and has been tested under Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS powered by the Qualcomm's new 64-bit based Snapdragon 410 (ARMv7) quad-core CPU. It is backed by 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt memory.
The GFXBench listing says that the Xiaomi slate will house two cameras (front and back), but the pixel specification details has been oddly left out. Other details include single SIM slot, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and other standard sensors like gyroscope, accelerometer, light sensor and proximity sensors.
As of now, there is no word on the name of the Xiaomi device, but going by the history, this slate is likely to roll out with Mi-Pad series tag.
The Chinese company has already made huge strides in global smartphone market with Mi-series. Xiaomi recently disposed Huawei from the third position in the recently concluded third quarter, with a staggering 211.3%, year-to-year growth in terms of shipment volume, which is highest among the top-five smartphone makers.
Only Samsung and Apple stand above the Chinese company, but going by Xiaomi's super-speed growth, their dominance in the market is fast declining with each passing quarter.
