World's top PC software make Microsoft on Thursday (30 April) launched the company's cheapest smartphone till date, Lumia 430, in India.
Microsoft 430 was originally unveiled last month. It sports 4.0-inch WVGA LCD screen and ships with the Windows Phone 8.1 OS (with Lumia Denim update) out-of-the box. The company claims the new phone is also in line for the new Windows 10 OS update, which is slated to be released this summer.
Under the hood, Lumia 430 houses a Snapdragon 200 series dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory, 2mp camera, VGA snapper on the front and a 1500 mAh battery which can power the phone for close to 19 days on standby mode.
Prospective Lumia 430 consumers stand to get free Office apps, which include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. These apps with the help of OneDrive cloud storage make project work documents available at any Windows operable devices, making it seamlessly accessible anywhere.

The company has reportedly confirmed that Lumia 430 will made available across India for just ₹5,299, starting Thursday.
Lumia 430 will be up against an army of Android powered smartphones such as popular Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen; both 3G & 4G models), Canvas A1, Karbonn Sparkle V and Spice dream Uno, Asus Zenfone 4, recently released Micromax Canvas Spark, Karbonn Alfa A120, Oppo Joy Plus and other domestics brands.
