Popular home-bred smartphone maker Micromax has reportedly released the first Cyanogen software update to YU Yureka via OTA (Over-The-Air).
The company confirmed the news on Twitter that new firmware will come with bug fix. We would like to remind users that this is a minor update and not the Android 5.0 Lollipop.
It is just a 73MB Cyanogen software patch (build number: XNPH05Q) expected to provide security fixes and bring enhancements to proximity sensor and dual-SIM functionality, reported AndroidOS.in.
In a related development, Micromax just announced that the fourth edition of YU Yureka flash sale, which went live at 2pm on Thursday, got over in a jiffy.
All 15,000 YU Yureka units were sold out in record four seconds. Though many were disappointed for not getting their hand on the feature-rich phone, there are no reports [at the time of filing the story] of any kind of glitches like over-pricing, decline of payment-mode or other problems, which was witnessed in previous sales.
