Popular indigenous smartphone-maker Micromax has released their budget handset Bolt A58 in India via online stores.
Bolt A58 sports a 3.5-inch TFT LCD screen with 320x480p resolution and runs on the Android v 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
Inside, the budget phone packs 1GHz MediaTek processor, 512MB RAM, 512MB in-built memory (expandable up to 32GB), 1200 mAh battery and 2.0-megapixel camera which can record 320x480p resolution video. On connectivity front, it features Dual-SIM slots, 3G network support, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth v2.0.
Micromax Bolt A58 is available at online store Saholic for โน5,499 and will be competing against Karbonn Smart A26, Samsung Galaxy Young (S6312), Nokia Asha budget series smartphones, as well as the company's own siblings Bolt A40 and Ninja 3 A57.
In related news, Micromax is reportedly working on a new flagship device Canvas Turbo A250. It is touted as the company's first ever full HD (1920x1080p) smartphone and is expected to feature MediaTek based 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 357MHz GPU, 1GB RAM, 13.0-megapixel main camera and 5.0-megapixel front-facing camera.
