Micormax's upcoming Canvas Doodle 3 continues to generate excitement among the tech lovers in the country.
The Canvas Doodle 3 smartphone, the legatee of Canvas Doodle 2 is the latest smartphone which has found its place in the rumour mill. Although the company is yet to reveal any details of the new offering, the rumour mill has been in full swing since the Company's Facebook handle announced the arrival of the smartphone. The latest news in the tech world is that the Micromax's upcoming Canvas Doodle 3 is likely to carry a price tag of ₹15,000, according to Nvonews.
As per Zauba, which keeps track of country's export and import details, the Micromax has shipped 10,000 units of new Canvas Doodle 3 to India. The company will launch the smartphone in blue and white colours, as reported by TechDroid.
Previous reports suggested that the upcoming handset will feature 6.0-inch screen with sub-par FWVGA (854x480p) resolutions and will be powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor. The smartphone will run on Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS and will house 5.0-megapixel main auto focus camera along with 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front camera. The handset is likely to see the light of the day in this week.
The predecessor of Micromax Canvas Doodle 3, Canvas 2 which was launched last year sports a 5.7-inch screen with HD 1280x720 display resolutions, powered by a MediaTek (MT6589) quad-core processor with 1.2GHz CPU speed. It runs on the Android v4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS and houses 1GB RAM, 16GB in-built memory, 12.0-megapixel main camera on the rear side and a 5.0-megapixel secondary camera on the front side. It comes loaded with 2,600 mAh battery and supports connectivity features like Dual-SIM, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi and micro-USB v2.0. The device was launched with a price tag of ₹19,990 in India.
