Chinese manufacturer Gionee officially released the company's flagship smartphone Elife E6 in India last week.

The new phone is currently available at online stores for prices as low as ₹21,890, making it the most affordable full HD smartphone in the market.

By competitively pricing the smartphone, Gionee has taken the price war to the Indian smartphone makers, especially Micromax, whose flagship phone Canvas 4's sales is expected to take a hit, courtesy of Elife E6.

Here is a brief specification comparison between Micromax Canvas 4 and Gionee Elife E6.

Micromax flagship sports 5.0-inch True IPS display with HD (1280x720p) resolution with pixel density close to 294 ppi (pixels per inch).

On the other hand, Gionee Elife E6 flaunts a superior 5.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) 'Reality' display boasting 'White OGS (One Glass Solution)' screen technology. It also has a staggering pixel density of 441 ppi.

Processor, RAM and Storage:

The Gionee smartphone beats the Micromax hands down in this aspect. Elife E6 comes packed with sumptuous 2GB RAM, 32GB memory and a ARM based Cortex-A7 quad-core processor that can clock CPU speed up to 1.5GHz, whereas the Micromax Canvas 4 runs on a slower 1.2GHz quad-core processor and ships with 1GB RAM and 16GB memory (expandable up to 32GB).

In terms of camera specifications, Gionee and Micromax smartphones stand even as they both come loaded with pretty much the same features.

Canvas 4 and Elife E6 both sport 13.0-megapixel main camera boasting 5-element lens technology, BSI sensor, HDR, full HD (1920x1020p) video recording, as well as flash support and they even feature the same 5.0-megapixel camera on the front side.
