Earlier in the week, home grown smartphone maker, Micromax launched its third-generation Canvas Doodle phablet. Now the company has teased a new mid-range handset dubbed as Canvas 2 Colours on the company's official website.
As the name suggests, new Canvas series phone comes with multiple coloured back-panel options radiant red, vibrant yellow, splendid green and mystic blue. Prospective buyers will get the red and blue back-panels with dark grey model, whereas for the white variant, they will get yellow and green covers, says the company.
Under the hood, 5.0-inch HD Canvas 2 Colours ship with Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB), 8.0-megapixel camera (with flash, HD video recording), 2.0-megapixel snapper on the front and 2000 mAh battery.
As of now, there is no official word on when Micromax Canvas 2 Colours would be available in the market, but once released, the device will be up against with the Nokia's Lumia 525, which too comes with multiple colour back-panel options. Other competitors include, Motorola Moto G, HTC Desire 310 and Lava Iris Pro 20.
