Micromax, in addition to its online shop partner Snapdeal, recently added more Indian e-retailers in its fold to cater to the huge demand for its flagship A116 Canvas HD smartphone.

Online Shopping portals The Mobile Store, Saholic.com, Infibeam.com, Flipkart.com, UniverCell.in and Cromaretail.com had listed the Micromax smartphone with prices ranging from ₹13,999 to ₹15,999, a few days ago. But now, the smartphone is reportedly sold out once again in almost all stores except the Tata owned Cromaretail.com. UniverCell.in is yet to begin sales of the coveted smartphone.

There are reports that Micromax may begin selling the Canvas HD in local phone shops within this week.

Ever since Micromax launched its flagship A116 Canvas HD mid-February in India, the smartphone has become the most sought after smartphone in the sub-continent. Thanks to the device's low-price tag and high-end features, Micromax has become a force to reckon and considered capable of challenging Samsung, Nokia and other MNC brand smartphone makers in the market.

If Micromax fails to react quickly to the supply-demand deficit of the A116 Canvas HD, rivals like Karbonn's Titanium S5, Lava's Xolo Q800 may pull down its revenue.
