Force India have delivered fairly well in the Formula One this season as they lie in fifth place in the constructors' championship with 102 points. Their drivers -- Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg --  have played an integral part in helping the team perform well this year.

Force India have their eyes set on the Mexican grand prix, which takes shape on Sunday after an inspiring performance from Perez in the last two races of the season, the Russian and the US grand prix, where he finished third and fifth respectively.

Perez will want to come up with another solid performance in Mexico and if possible even finish in the podium, which might be a daunting task. Lewis Hamilton, who has already won the title, is a strong favourite to clinch the Meican grand prix, while Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg, who have 251 and 247 points, will be eager to outdo one another and increase their chance of finishing second.

Perez, who is going to be well supported in front of his home fans in Mexico, is looking ahead for the final few races left in the season. Three races remain, including the Mexican grand prix, before the season comes to a close.

"The races in Russia and the United States have been an ideal way to prepare me for the return of my home race. A podium finish and a strong fifth place have given me a lot of confidence ahead of the final part of the season. I think there is more to come from us and I'm really looking forward to the final few races," said Perez.

Perez, who is just 10 points shy from Daniel Ricciardo, will be eager to come up with another big race in Mexico and inch closer and may be even move ahead of the Red Bull driver. Perez is in the ninth place at present.

Though Perez considers racing in Mexico will be a major highlight in his career, he wants to focus on the job at hand, which is to give his best and produce another good result in the third last race of the season.

"Racing in Mexico is, of course, very special for me, but at the same time I should not let this distract me from the fact that it is another race in which I will need to give 100% to bring home a good result. I am incredibly motivated to work hard with my team to have another race to celebrate," added Perez.
