Popular Chinese smartphone maker has launched the much awaited compact flagship handset dubbed as OnePlus X in New Delhi, India, on 19 October.
The new OnePlus X comes with a compact 5.0-inch display, enough to comfortably operable with single hand and it also comes with brushed metal frame having 17 micro-cuts all the way around, so that the users will get firm grip over the phone.
Under the hood, it houses 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core SoC (System on Chip), 3GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory and 2525 mAh battery, which is enough to run the phone for the whole day.
It also boasts 13MP camera with ISOCELL 3M2 CMOS sensor, PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, full HD video recording. And, a 8MP front snapper with OV8858 sensor and f/2.4 aperture.
Another notable feature is the slider button placed on the left side of the bezel. It acts a notification access switcher with options – 'none, priority and all'.
OnePlus X India release and price details:
The company has confirmed that the new OnePlus One comes in Onyx (glass) and limited edition ceramic models. Like previous generation OnePlus phone, they will be made available via invite system.
OnePlus X (Onyx) sale will go live on 5 November and the Ceramic model will be released on 24 November in Europe (€199/€269) and India (Rs.16,999/Rs. 22,999).
US buyers can be able to order OnePlus X (Onyx) for $249 on 19 November.
The good news is that invite-only system will be for only one month (November). The company has confirmed to hold hourly open sale on all days in December.
Competition:
OnePlus X will be up against the newly launched Moto X Play, Xolo Black 1X, Xiaomi Mi 4i, ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini, Lenovo K3 Note and others.
