After months of speculations, popular Chinese technology startup company finally pulled the wraps off the much-awaited OnePlus 2.

The new OnePlus 2 flaunts aluminum-magnesium alloy frame around its edges with steel accents. It not only gives a premium feel, but also provides a firm grip for hands and sturdy structure to the phone to withstand accidental drop.

It also boasts a slider button to the left side, which acts as a notification access switcher with options, 'none, priority and all'. The company had already confirmed that OnePlus 2 will feature fingerprint sensor, but nobody knew it will be placed, now it has been confirmed that it has been incorporated on the home button, like the one we see in Apple iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 series phones. OnePlus 2 can register five different finger profiles.

It sports 5.5-inch full HD display; many might get disappointed hearing this news, but the company claims the device boasts in-cell display technology, making OnePlus 2's screen brighter and make it produce richer colour than its predecessor.

OnePlus 2 houses 13mp camera with f/2.0 aperture on the rear side, similar to the 2014 model. But, the successor is still said to be a step up in terms of image processing. The main camera is supported with laser auto focus. This feature measures the distance between the subject and the camera using a laser beam, enabling good quality photos even under low-light conditions.

OnePlus 2 camera will reportedly come with OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer), 0.3 second superfast auto-focus, auto-mode, HDR, clear-shot, beauty mode, panorama mode and 4k video recording ability.

Under the hood, it comes packed with Snapdragon 810 Octa-core CPU, 4GB LPDDR 4 RAM, 16GB/64GB inbuilt storage and a 3300 mAh battery.

The phone will come with USB type C port cable and four StyleSwap Covers options: Bamboo, Black Apricot, Rosewood, and Kevlar.
