Metal-clad Asus Zenfone 3 Max series with massive battery launched in India; all you need to know

Taiwanese consumer electronics major Asus on Wednesday launched the new Zenfone 3 Max in New Delhi.

Asus Zenfone 3 Max comes in two variants- 5.5 inch (ZC553KL) and 5.2 inch (ZC520TL). Key difference between the two is that, former device comes with the full HD (1920x1080p) resolution screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, 16MP camera with Laser autofocus and 8MP front snapper. Whereas, the smaller model features HD (1280x720p) MediaTek MT6737M quad-core CPU, 13MP primary shooter and a 5MP camera on the front.

Rest of the specifications such as battery, storage and RAM capacity are same in both the device. They come with It houses a 4,100mAh battery, which is capable of keeping the phone running for about 30 days under standby mode, up to 20 hours on talk time (3G) and 4G/LTE web browsing, and 15 hours on video playback, 32GB internal storage and 3GB RAM.

The company has confirmed that the Zenfone 3 Max's 5.5 inch (ZC553KL) model will be released by the end of November for Rs. 17,999 , and the 5.2 inch (ZC520TL) will be made available starting today at major stores and e-commerce sites for Rs. 12,999.

Competition:

Asus Zenfone 3 Max will be up against the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2, Lenovo K5 Note and Moto G4 series, among others.
