Messi fuels potential Chelsea move after following the Blues on InstagramReuters

Lionel Messi has dropped a massive transfer hint by following Chelsea Football club on Instagram.

Not just the club, the ace footballer is also following a number of other Chelsea players, which leads to questions about his future with Barcelona.

But one should not be taken by surprise, for Messi is aware of Chelsea's interest, as he has been linked with the Blues recently as well. Manchester City were also linked with the Barca star.

The Barca star was left out of the starting line up against Real Sociedad and was rather used as a substitute.

The Daily Mail reports that Messi also missed an open training session, while some reports claim that the Argentinean has fallen out with Luis Enrique, Barca's manager.

There can be nothing worse than a poor relationship between a player and a manager, as it would reflect on the field as well.

Meanwhile, there is no reason as to why any top club would not be interested in signing one of the best players of the world, provided the club can cough up the money as well.

Only very few teams in the world can basically afford him, which includes the French club, Paris Saint Germain and two English clubs, City and Chelsea.

As reported by the Daily Express, Chelsea's owner, Roman Abramovich is already planning an audacious summer move of £200 million for the star player.

If it turns out to be successful, he will become the world's most expensive player.

But one is not sure as to how would the Blues manage to pull this move with the stringent financial fair play rules.

Mourinho is aware of the obstacle related to Messi's move, which might come their way, as he had told Clare Balding for a BT Sport Christmas Day Special, "No I have no chance of that,"

"Because at this moment there is financial fair play and with the financial fair play we have to follow certain rules, certain numbers and we obviously have no conditions to buy, as you say a 'super amazing player' paid with 'super amazing numbers' that Chelsea at this moment we cannot do."

Taking Messi away from Camp Nou is not going to be an easy affair, for the player has played a pivotal role in Barca colours since 2004. He has scored more than 250 goals for the club, which is a phenomenal record and is still capable of producing many more goals.

Though, Barcelona might earn a huge profit in terms of business if the player is sold to the Blues, but they might try to play all their cards to make him stay with Barcelona for some more years.
