"Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi" actor Gautam Gupta, who plays the role of Ishaani's (Radhika Madan) brother Sharman, will reportedly quit the show.
Gautam recently bagged the lead role in the new show, "Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan", where he plays the role of Madhavan. According to reports, juggling between two shows has affected the actors's health, which is why he is planning to quit "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi".
"Shooting day and night without a break is affecting Gautam's health. Time management is a big problem for both teams so he was heard mulling over the thought on the KTHTMD sets but hasn't finalised his decision yet," a source told Asian Age.
However, the actor denied the buzz saying: "I am not quitting Meri Aashiqui."
"Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan" is Ekta Kapoor's new venture and besides Gautam, it also has Shritama Mukherjee (Koyal) and Vibhav Roy (Raj Kapoor) in the lead roles. The show revolves around the lives of three best friends Raj, Koyal and Madhavan.
On the other hand, in "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi", actress Mouni Roy will make a special appearance on the show. She will reportedly be on the show to promote her upcoming series "Naagin". Meanwhile, Ishaani and Ranveer (Shakti Arora) will finally get married. But unfortunately, Ranveer gets kidnapped by evil Milan, who takes over his place in Ishaani's life.
