Following the release of Meizu Pro 5, the Chinese smartphone maker is planning to release the miniature version of the flagship device soon. While the legit details remain under wraps, a European online retailer leaked the complete spec-sheet along with the price of the handset and its spectacular design.

Meizu unveiled the flagship Pro 5 device in China in September. The premium handset impressed us with its exquisite design, performance and high-end specs. The Chinese smartphone maker is looking to build on the success of the Pro 5 with a mini version.

As per the leaked product listing on eFox, Meizu Pro 5 mini will carry a price tag of EUR 359.99 (approximately Rs. 26,000). For the price, the buyers will get a 4.7-inch Full HD screen, 16-megapixel primary camera with flash, 5MP front snapper, 3,50mAh battery and dual SIM support with 4G LTE. Additionally, Meizu Pro 5 mini will also sport fingerprint scanner for authentication.

Under the hood, the handset will run on a 64-bit Helio X20 MT6797 processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage with microSD card expansion. Comparatively, Meizu Pro 5 was powered using Samsung's Exynos 7420.

With these specs on board, Meizu Pro 5 mini is bound to succeed in the mid-range market, which is significantly gaining consumer attention of late. If true, the new Meizu smartphone might compete with the likes of OnePlus X and other products with similar specs and price range.

In a separate report from GSM Arena, Meizu is likely to launch a 4GB variant with 64GB on board storage of the mini smartphone, just like it did with the original Pro 5. Like its elder sibling, Meizu Pro 5 mini will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop with company's Flyme OS on top of it.

Meizu hasn't officially confirmed the existence of the Pro 5 mini, but such intense leaks only point towards an imminent release sometime soon.
