Meadow Walker, the only daughter of actor Paul Walker, celebrates her 17th birthday on 4 November, 2015. The "Fast & Furious" actor's daughter lived with her mother Rebecca McBrain in Hawaii, but moved back to California to live with her father, just before his tragic death in a car accident on 30 November, 2013.
Meadow was just 15 when she lost her dad. And through various throwback pictures, she has constantly expressed how she misses her father Paul Walker every moment in her life.
In fact, Meadow even launched a new foundation â€" Paul Walker Foundation -- honouring the late actor, on what would have been his 42nd birthday.
"Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions. His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others. I am tremendously proud to be launching The #PaulWalkerFoundation (@paulwalkerfdn) on his birthday. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my father. #DoGood," she wrote on her Instagram page.
On her birthday, we bring to you some rare photos of Meadow Walker with her dad. Also, we would like to throw some light on the amazing father-daughter relationship Meadow and Paul shared. It has been widely reported that Paul and Meadow shared a beautiful relationship and were very close. They spent brief, but quality time together when Meadow moved back to California.
Paul had opened about his wishes and what he hoped for his daughter Meadow in his 2003 interview with CosmoGirl (via Hollywood Life) in 2003. "I have a daughter and she's been going on camping trips with me recently. It's important to me that she experiences those things and grows while doing all that. I think sometimes it may be overwhelming for her because of who her daddy is and what he does," he told in the interview.
He further explained, "I hope it never gets to a [bad] level, but there's a chance it will, and I just know that the only way to offset that would be to make the outdoors a key part of her life."
Well, we are sure Meadow will surely be missing her dad Paul Walker on her 17th birthday, today.
