The first look of Agent Skye as Daisy Johnson a.k.a. Quake (from the "Secret Warriors" storyline) in season three of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." has been revealed, bringing an end to her mysterious past since season one. Quake's costume has been designed by Ann Foley who also designed costumes of Deathlok and Agent Bobbi Morse.
Talking with Marvel News, Foley shared her idea of the costume and what inspired her to design it.
"I think one of the most important things was that the symbol be incorporated into her costume but especially onto the gauntlets. And it's also on the back of her suit, which was a fun little touch that we added.
"As far as the silhouette, we wanted to stay true to the comics and pay tribute to those original designs. I also wanted to incorporate the gold colour that I have seen in some of the illustrations of her suit throughout the comics, which is why we have the gold lines that we see on the suit."
She further said that the costume is similar to the tactical hood that Skye wore in season two.
The visual transformation was needed to fit the new story line that was revealed in season two finale. In the new story, Daisy is tasked with locating and recruiting other Inhumans that will likely lead to the introduction of the Secret Warriors (from Marvel's comic books).
People Magazine has reported that ABC and Marvel Entertainment have released a new promotional poster for the season three premiere of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
The first episode of the season titled "Laws of Nature" has been officially described as given below: "When Coulson and the team discover a new Inhuman, S.H.I.E.L.D. comes face to face with another organisation searching for powered people. And still reeling from Simmons' dramatic disappearance, Fitz goes to extreme lengths to try to learn how to get her back."
