Finally, the much-awaited compact SUV, Vitara Brezza, from the house of the country's largest car-maker Maruti Suzuki is here. The company pulled the wraps off its first compact urban SUV in India Tuesday, March 8.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza bookings and delivery
The Vitara Brezza, the first offering of Maruti that has been completely developed in India by its R&D team led by CV Raman, was opened for bookings in the country starting March 8. Some of the dealers of the company have commenced the bookings ahead of the launch of the model. The company will start the delivery of the Vitara Brezza by March-end and the model will be sold through the regular dealers of Maruti.
Maruti has already started dispatching the new compact SUV to respective dealers across the country. At the launch of the Vitara Brezza, Maruti said that the company has no plans to export the new offering as of now as it wishes to focus on the domestic demand.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza colours and variants
The Vitara Brezza will be available in LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi, ZDi+ and ZDi+ dual tone trims with six exterior colour options. The buyers can choose from single tone colours from white, grey, silver, blue, red and yellow. The dual-tone colours will be available only on ZDi+ trim.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza engine details and features
The compact is powered by a 200 DDis 1248cc diesel engine, which is tuned to churn out 88.5bhp at 4,000rpm and 200Nm of torque at 1,750rpm, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The Vitara Brezza promises to deliver a mileage of 24.3 kmpl.
It houses features like electrically foldable ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators, a reverse parking camera, Smartplay infotainment system, cooled glove box, cruise control, projector headlamps and in-built navigation.
On the safety front, the Vitara Brezza packs driver airbag is, front passenger airbag and ABS with EBD.
