Maruti Suzuki Launches Swift Dzire Facelift; Bookings, Price, Mileage and More [PHOTOS]

The wait is finally over. Maruti Suzuki, India's largest car maker, launched its much-awaited Swift Dzire facelift in the country on Monday.

2015 Swift Dzire, the facelifited avatar of Maruti's popular Dzire sedan, also became the most fuel- efficient car in India in its new avatar, with a mileage of 26.59 kmpl.

Under the hood, the 2015 Dzire model packs the same tried and tested 1248cc DDiS diesel engine and 1197cc K series VVT engine. While the diesel model of the Swift Dzire is tuned to generate 75ps of power @ 4000rpm and 190Nm @ 2000 rpm peak torque, the petrol variant of the model can churn out 84.3ps @ 6000rpm and a torque of 115Nm @ 4000rpm.

Visually, in its new avatar, the Swift Dzire facelift gets new chrome front grille with headlamps and reworked bumpers. The list also includes new alloy wheels and electrically retractable ORVMs with turn indicators.

Inside the cabin, Swift Dzire facelift front and rear accessory socket, updated music system and Engine push start / stop button.

Available in a total of eight trims – five petrol including AT and 3 diesel, the new Swift Dzire gets new body paints- Cave black, Alp Blue, Magma Grey and Sangria Red.

The rich equipment list on the refreshed Dzire that includes premium features like engine push start / stop system, reverse parking sensors, new motion alloy wheels and Bluetooth with audio etc will be valued by the customers," said R.S. Kalsi, Executive Director Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India.

The company's dealers have already started accepting bookings for the new Sift Dzire and the delivery is likely to commence soon.
