Ranchi, Oct 05 (ANI): Maoists have called for a shutdown in Ranchi district of Jharkhand on Saturday (October 05) following encounter of their fellow rebel, bringing normal life in the region to a standstill. Reportedly, the insurgents were enraged when police forces killed a Maoist in the region a few days ago during an encounter. Tourists expressed their fear saying they were uncertain about their safety while travelling. In Ranchi, daily commuters were left stranded as trains and buses did not ply.
