Gaya, Feb 23 (ANI): Maoists attack district police station in ‘red corridor’ region, after a fierce gunbattle killing one cab driver and setting two trucks ablaze in Gaya city of Bihar. The cross-firing between red rebels and police started at around 11 pm at night and went on for a couple of hours. Kumar said that the number of Maoists who carried on the operation could not be estimated as the sudden attack came in the dead of the night. They tried to barge in the police station, but the counter attack by the security officials failed their attempts. A taxi driver, who was on a daily commute with a family from Odisha to Aurangabad, became victim of the rebel’s reckless violence.
