Gadchiroli, Oct 18 (ANI): At least three security personnel were killed in a landmine blast following a gun battle with Maoists in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. The Maoist attack took place on Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh border on Thursday. The Maoists planted a landmine and triggered a blast which was followed by an exchange of fire between the special action group and Maoists. Speaking to the mediapersons, the Superintendent of Police, Suvez Haque said that the police personnel bravely fought the Maoists. The bodies of the slain security personnel were brought to Gadchiroli where they were cremated with full service and state honours.
