Chhattisgarh, Nov 28 (ANI): At least four paramilitary officials of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were killed in an ambush by Maoists in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. A road opening party (ROP) of the CRPF was on its way to a village for a civic action programme, when an improvised explosive device (IED) attack took place. The explosion was followed by indiscriminate firing by the Maoists and later a gun battle between both sides. Director General of Police, Ramniwas said that the deceased belonged to 168 battalion of CRPF.
