The official teaser and the trailer of the upcoming Mammootty flick "Manglish" are released. The second teaser introduces Malik Bhai, played by Mammootty, who is struggling with the English language and the trailer gives a glimpse of the film's storyline.

The 45 second teaser shows Malik Bhai who is in a state of confusion when he has to communicate with Michelle, played by Caroline Bech. He understands the need to learn English in order to survive in the world. The teaser shows how Malik Bhai is envious of those who speak English and soon joins an English Institute to learn the language.

The two minute long trailer assures audience to look forward for a mass entertainer. It introduces the main characters of the film. It starts with a mesmerising scene of Michelle enjoying monsoon in Kerala and her visit to Kochi. Bhai is a wholesale fish dealer at the Cochin Harbour. It is said that no business in Kochi happens without Bhai's consent. He is also involved with all wrestles in the town. At the same time, he is everybody's favourite as he is always there to lend his help to anyone who needs his support.

Michelle is in India for a purpose and she seeks Bhai's help to reach her goal. Communication becomes a hurdle between them as they both do not have a common language. "Manglish" is a comedy entertainer that revolves around Bhai and Michelle's confusion in communicating with each other.

"Manglish" will be the first Malayalam film to release in Dolby Atmos sound format, which is known for producing life-like natural sound experience in films. The sound effect is also capable of reflecting artist's original sound regardless of the theatre set up. This format was previously used in Hollywood films including "Life of Pi", "Brave", "Transformers: Age of Extinction" and "300: Rise of an Empire" and certain Indian films such as "Dhoom 3", "Gunday" and Sivaji 3D."

"Manglish" also got attention for its promo song "Njanga Ponenutta," which was sung by Mammootty's son Dulquer Salmaan. The posters also got popular recently that introduced each character separately.

The Mammootty starrer is all set for its Eid release on 27 July and is produced by Haneef Mohammed under the banner of Red Rose Creations. The story, screen play and dialogues are done by Riyas and Pradheesh Varma will wield the camera for the film. The music is composed by Gopi Sunder and the lyrics are penned by Hari Narayanan and Santhosh Varma.
