Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney is extremely happy with his side's performance in the pre- season tour. Rooney has now led his side to three back-to-back victories in the International Champions Cup. The Red Devils will be playing their final game of their US tour against French side Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in Chicago on Wednesday.

Rooney said that he is ready for the final match against PSG and it has been an exciting tour so far. The United captain expressed his delight after playing with his new teammates who, he feels, have been brilliant in this pre-season tour.

United beat Club America in the first game followed by San Jose Earthquakes in the second and in their last game they defeated the European champions Barcelona in San Francisco last week.

"It's always a difficult game against Barcelona but to get the victory and with the way we played made it very satisfying. A lot of the younger players came on for the last 30 minutes and did really well against a quality team. That will give them a lot of confidence.

"The tour's obviously gone well. New players have come in, we've had some good training sessions and we've won all the games so far. It's gone as well as it can really," Rooney told reporters after his side won against Barcelona 3-1 in their last game.

Bastian Schweinsteiger missed the game against Barcelona due to a minor injury but joined the practice session on Monday. Sergio Romero, the Argentine goalkeeper, who completed his move to old trafford on Monday, also joined the practice session and might make his debut for the Red Devils against PSG on Wednesday at the Soldier Field in Chicago.

United are the defending champions of the International Champions Cup and just need a point to finish at the top of the table above New York Red Bulls. But Rooney wants to finish the pre-season tour in style by beating PSG and lift the silverware for his side before the start of the new season of English Premier League.
