Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has become embroiled in a sex abuse scandal in Spain. The 25-year-old has been accused by an alleged victim and witness in the investigation of pornographer Ignacio Fernandez Allende.

The female witness claims De Gea was involved in arranging her meeting with Athletic Bilbao star Iker Muniain and another unnamed player and was forced to have sexual relations with them.

The alleged incident is said to have occurred at a five-star hotel in Madrid back in 2012, when the players were with Spains under-21 side, according to Spanish newspaper El Diario.es.

The woman has alleged that although De Gea did not have sex with her, the United star was responsible for arranging the encounter through Allende, who is more commonly known as Torbe in Spain.

Torbe has been in prison since April 2016 on charges of human trafficking for sexual exploitation, sexual assault and child pornography, as well as charges relating to prostitution, extortion, money laundering and crimes against public health.
