"Batman Vs Superman," the much-awaited "Man of Steel" sequel, has started production and although nothing is yet known about the plot, fans of superhero movies have their own theories on how the characters of Batman and Superman would pan out.

One theory has it that Clark Kent aka Superman, played by Henry Cavill, will face his unexpected death at the end of the movie. The villains of "Batman Vs Superman" will be Lex Luthor and Metallo. The Kryptonite power source contained within Matello is what is expected to kill Superman, according to Movie Pilot.

However, the death of Superman is a rather unlikely occurrence as Warner Bros. recently announced the "Justice League" movie, which will hit theatres in 2017.

Another rumor has it that Superman will be in exile and Batman, played by Ben Affleck, will team up with Luthor to find Superman. While Luthor intends to find Superman and finish him once and for all, Batman intends to save him.

In the meantime, Lois Lane, played by Amy Adams, will be investigating Luthor, who has bought The Daily Planet.

Gal Gadot will play the role of Wonder Woman and it is believed that Lane will be threatened by her presence in Superman's life. During an interview with Superhero Hype, Adams addressed the possibility of a love triangle saying, "Am I interested? I don't know. I mean, we'll see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we're not in a love triangle. That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries."

There has been no official statement on if these rumors are in fact true. Zack Snyder, director of the movie, is making sure that details of the plot are not released and Jennifer Garner, wife of Affleck, reportedly got into trouble when she unknowingly stated in an interview that Batsuit is huge.

"I have gotten in some trouble for my little quotes and I'm learning to [keep my mouth shut]," Garner told Collider. "I thought that I was saying things that were foregone conclusions and it turns out nothing is, and you won't be hearing from me on the Batman front [again]."

Affleck's close friend Matt Damon, too, recently said that he has seen pictures of the Batsuit, and noted that it is an excellent costume.

"I have seen a picture. It's excellent," Damon told MTV. "And I've talked to him about the story line, and it's great."
