Director Kamal's upcoming film "Utopiayile Rajavu" with Mammootty and Jewel Mary started shooting in Thodupuzha, Kerala, on Friday, 15 May.
On Friday evening, the megastar informed his fans about it via Facebook.

The pooja function of the upcoming film took place on Thursday, 14 May.
The grand event saw the presence of mega star Mammootty, Jewel Mary, Kamal, Lal Jose, Ranjith, and Fazil.

Mammootty will be seen as a villager in "Utopiayile Rajavu" and Jewel, who made her acting debut opposite Mammootty in Salim Ahmed's "Pathemari", will again share screen space with the mega star in the upcoming film.
While VS Rafeeq has scripted the film, PS Rafeeq will pen the lyrics, and Ouseppachan will compose the music.
The film also has Joy Mathew, Sunil Sukhadha, Nandhu, and Pashanam Shaji in pivotal roles.
The Mammootty starrer is produced by Haseeb Haneef and Noushad Kannur under the banner Grande Film Corporation.
Meanwhile, the upcoming film is one of the most-awaited Malayalam films of the year as Kamal and Mammootty have mesmerised the audience earlier with their superhit films "Mazhayethum Munpe", "Azhakiya Raavanan", "Raapakal", and "Karutha Pakshikal".
