Mahindra's flagship motorcycle Mojo 300 is reportedly all set to be launched on 16 October, and some of the dealers have already started accepting bookings for the new motorcycle.

An AutocarIndia report says the motorcycle has been priced at Rs 1.8 lakh. A customer, who just made a booking, informed that the motorcycle has been priced at Rs 1.8 lakh. However, it might not be the actual price if the said customer has got additional discount for booking before the launch.

In any case, we can confirm that the price of the bike ranges from Rs. 1.8 lakh to Rs 2.0 lakh.

Mahindra Mojo, the model that will go against the Kawasaki Ninja 300R, Honda CBR 250R/300R and KTM Duke, is powered by a 296cc liquid-cooled four-stroke single-cylinder engine that can pump out a power of 27bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque 30Nm at 6,500rpm.

The striking feature of the motorcycle is the twin headlamp in black cowl. The daytime running lights positioned above the headlamps. The motorcycle boasts of USD (Up Side Down) forks and the bars that run under the fuel tank come in golden shade. Additionally, the swing arms are also draped in the same shade.

The Mojo will come with segment first Pirelli Sport Demon tyres mounted on Y-spoke black alloy wheels, which are known for its better grip in any road condition. The braking is taken care of by disc brakes for both the wheels. The Mojo 300 will also feature tank mounted ignition key and chunky exhaust pipes.
