Mahindra's KUV100 compact SUV is scheduled to be launched in India on 15 January. Ahead of its launch, the full specifications of KUV100 have been leaked online, giving auto lovers in the country a pretty clear picture of what to expect from the model when it arrives.
Mahindra, which unveiled its new mini-SUV KUV100 in early December targeting youngsters, has kept its specifications and features under wraps before the car's official launch in India.
The latest leaks come from The Automotive India and according to the report, the KUV100, which is popularly known by its codename S101, will be offered in four variants -- K2, K4, K6 and K8. All variants of KUV100 will feature anti-lock braking system (ABS) and get optional dual airbag across the line up.
Riding on an all-new platform, under the hood, the Mahindra KUV100 (S101) will get the company's new engine mFalcon. To be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options, the petrol 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 is tuned to churn out 82bhp and 114NM, and the 1.2-litre mFalcon D75 diesel can develop 77bhp and a peak torque of 190Nm.
The bookings for KUV100 are currently underway in the country.
