The audio and the theatrical trailer of Mahesh Babu's "Aagadu" were released in a grand event held at Shilpakala Vedhika in Hyderabad on Saturday, 30 August.

The event was attended by several film celebrities including Mahesh Babu, director Sreenu Vaitla, "Robo" director Shankar Shanmugh, music composer Thaman, Nassar, producers of "Aagadu," superstar Krishna, actor Sudheer Babu of "Prema Katha Chitram" fame and producer Dil Raju among others.

There are five songs and one theme song composed by Thaman. "Aagadu" is the composer's 50th film in his career and his third film with Mahesh Babu.

"Aagadu" theatrical trailer was also released during the audio launch. Looking at the trailer, one can expect the film to be a commercial entertainer with loads of action, punch dialogues and comedy.

It introduces Mahesh Babu as Encounter Specialist CI Shankar. The actor impresses with his charming looks and dialogue delivery with a new accent. The video also shows other actors including Brahmanandam and Sonu Sood.

Action and comedy appears to be the major elements of "Aagadu." Vaitla films are high on entertainment quotient and "Aagadu" is also expected to be in similar lines.

The film is carrying huge expectations as Mahesh has teamed up with director Vaitla for the second time after their 2011 blockbuster flick, "Dookudu."

Tamannaah is playing the female lead opposite the superstar for the first time. It will be interesting to see how their chemistry works in the film. 

"Aagadu" shooting is completely wrapped and the post-production work is expected commence soon. The Mahesh starrer is confirmed to hit the screens on 19 September.

With no competition around, the film is expected to have a grand release. The buzz on "Aagadu" is positive and the film is likely to take fantastic openings upon its release. It remains to be seen whether the film's content will be able to impress the audience.
