The film also has Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam, Sai Kumar, Sonu Sood and Napoleon in supporting roles. Shruti Haasan will be doing an item number along with Mahesh in the film. The action entertainer is produced by Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta of 14 Reels Entertainment banner.

The production of "Aagadu" is completed and two songs have been shot recently in the beautiful locales of Europe. The film is slated to hit the screens on 26 September.

"Aagadu" will be Mahesh's second release of the year after "1 Nenokkadine." The psychological thriller received critical acclaim but failed to perform well at the box office as it did not have much entertainment quotient.

However, "Aagadu" is touted to be a complete entertainer with all the commercial elements that one would expect from a Vaitla film. This is the second time that the director has teamed up with Mahesh after the blockbuster hit "Dookudu." Fans of the actor-director duo will be expecting another hit from them.
