Sundar C, as promised before, seems to be leaving no stone unturned to make his next film a biggie. The filmmaker is reportedly trying to rope in best actors and the latest buzz is that he has signed Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and Tamil actor Jayam Ravi for his multilingual project.

Reports say that Sundar C has finally managed to get the dates of Mahesh Babu and Jayam Ravi to star in historical-fiction called "Sanghamitra." The filmmaker had reportedly approached many big names including Suriya and Ilayathalapathy Vijay.

A few actors rejected the offer as they were sceptical to be part of a mega-budget film when a few biggies like "Puli" in the recent years have bombed at the box office. However, Mahesh Babu and Jayam Ravi seem to be confident about the script. Hence, they have signed the flick, say some unconfirmed reports.

The forthcoming movie will be simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. It is billed as the biggest-ever film made in the history of Indian cinema in terms of budget, which will be higher than SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali" series and Rajinikanth's forthcoming movie "2.0" aka "Enthiran 2." The forthcoming film is bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films.

Talking about the project, Sundar C had earlier said that he feels honoured to be directing the 100th movie of Sri Thenandal Films. The project needs a lot of planning and he has been working on the film for over eight months now. Simultaneously, hundreds of technicians are working on the film in the U.S., U.K, Denmark, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

Sundar C has roped in AR Rahman for music direction, Sabu Cyril for art direction and Kamal Kannan to supervise CGI works.
