At least 50 of the 250 students who consumed the mid-day meal at a school in Maharashtra's Palghar town reportedly fell ill Thursday. At least 17 of them are in serious condition.
The incident took place in a school run by Zilla Parishad in Vikramgarh Taluka, the Daily News & Analysis reports.
Students were rushed to a nearby hospital when they started to nauseate and vomit after consuming the mid-day meal.
