Apart from collecting a huge amount of money for endorsing a product, celebrities need to take the right decision on what to and what not to promote.

They have to be socially responsible as their promotional activity can influence thousands of their fans.

Now, endorsing a food product has become a risky affair for celebs. Recently, the Bihar court asked the authorities to file an FIR against Nestle officials and Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta for endorsing Maggi noodles. The popular noodle brand has come under the scanner for containing more than the permissible level of monosodium glutamate (MSG) and lead.

PepsiCo India's corn puffs brand Kurkure is one of India's favourite snacks. Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla endorses the brand now and was also promoted by Parineeti Chopra, Kunal Kapoor, Boman Irani, Ramya Krishnan, and others.


Katrina Kaif is also known for promoting soft drink Slice in highly sensual advertisements.
