With the release of "Maari" just a few days away, the makers of the upcoming movie have released an entertainment-packed second teaser. As expected, Dhanush has managed to mesmerise the viewers with his energy and attitude.
Unlike the first teaser, the latest video has managed to assert more on the fun aspect of film by dancing for the high energy "Tharalocal" number for the song "Verithanam" composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Meanwhile, Dhanush's look in "Maari" with his gold-rimmed dark glasses and twisted moustache has already become a trend-setter.
The trailer of "Maari", which was released earlier, had introduced Dhanush's character as someone who is loved by people around him despite being a local con. Kajal Aggarwal plays the lead opposite the actor while singer Vijay Yesudas plays a police officer.
Basking in the success of his latest films like "Shamitabh" and "Anegan", Dhanush's role in "Maari" is said to be versatile and extremely entertaining.
"Maari" is directed by Balaji Mohan, who is known for films like "Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi" and "Vaayai Moodi Pesavum", which had garnered both critical acclaim and commercial success.
The star cast of "Maari", which is set for release on 17 July, also includes Robo Shankar, Kaali Venkat and Arjuna. The cinematography is handled by Om Prakash while the film is produced by Sarathkumar, Radhika Sarathkumar and Listin Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames.
