Love and War on-set photos leaked: Alia Bhatt's puffed hair extension, Ranbir Kapoor's hair patch fail to impress

Bollywood power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will next be seen together in Love & War. The couple are busy shooting with Vicky Kaushal for their respective parts. Although most portions of the film have been wrapped up, a few chunks are still left. Fans are waiting with bated breath to catch the official first look of the film, and for the last few months, many photos of Ranbir-Alia and Vicky Kaushal from the sets have been getting leaked on social media.

Earlier, photos of Ranbir and Vicky dressed in full Air Force uniforms, standing beside a fighter jet, were also leaked. Now, a fresh set of photos of Alia and Ranbir in a retro look has gone viral.

Zoom TV recently shared leaked on-set pictures from Love & War, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt alongside director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and choreographer Ganesh Acharya during the film's shoot. In the pictures, Ranbir is seen wearing a blue shirt paired with black trousers, sporting a clean-shaven look with just a moustache. Alia was seen in a jumpsuit with voluminous, puffed hair.

Alia and Ranbir exuded a classic cinema vibe that caught fans' attention. However, netizens weren't pleased with their look.

A section of netizens took to X (formerly Twitter) and recalled Alia's look as being similar to one of Kangana's looks that she had shared on Instagram.

Many even called out Alia and Ranbir. People soon started talking about Alia's wig and said, "Is that wig of Alia's supposed to look so disconnected?" Another called the leaked pictures a PR move, saying, "Bhansali is so desperate and mad that the movie postponement news is out that his PR is putting out pics."

One joked, "Kuch zyada nahi leak ho raha hai is movie ka... dheere dheere pura movie aise hi dikha do." ( Aren't too many photos getting leaked?)

Another said the wig looks out of place.

Is Love And War getting postponed?

Recently, reports suggested that Love & War might be pushed to 2027 due to the release of Ramayana in 2026. However, these rumours have now been debunked. A source close to the project dismissed the speculation and confirmed that Love & War is on track to hit theatres in 2026. "The film is very much set to release in 2026," the source told Koimoi. Reports also suggest that the filmmaker has already completed shooting a major portion of the film.
