Congress president Sonia Gandhi will wrap up her election campaigning in In Telangana of Andhra Pradesh, with the Andole rally in Medak district on 27 April. Telangana is to vote on 30 April simultaneously to both Lok Sabha and the State Assembly.

This would be the last polling of the general election and Assembly election in united AP as Telangana state will be carved out from it as a separate state on 2 June 2014.

Sonia has already addressed election rallies in Telangana region on 16 April in Karimnagar district and other areas like Hyderabad. Congress in Telangana is desperately looking for campaigning by high profile leaders of the party for its candidates' winning.

In Andole, where Sonia will campaign on Sunday, former deputy Chief Minister C Damodar Raj Narasimha is contesting on a Congress ticket. Along with Sonia, other top leaders of Congress like Rahul Gandhi has already campaigned in Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, Warangal and Hyderabad areas and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh canvassed in Nalgonda district's Bhuvanagiri constituency on Saturday.

Union Ministers - Jairam Ramesh and Gulam Nabi Azad will remain in Telangana till 28 April to campaign in the region, say media reports.

Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu was scheduled to cover four districts in Telangana for his party's campaigning. Naidu will address poll rallies in Jagityala, Kandukuru, Ibrahimpatnam, Patancheru and Sherilingapalli in Telangana.

Jana Sena founder and popular actor Pawan Kalayan, who has been campaigning for BJP-TDP alliance, will address a rally in Wambe Colony near NTR Stadium in Hyderabad at 3 pm on Sunday.      

Jana Satta Party national president Jayaprakash Narayan is to campaign for BJP's candidate Bandaru Dattatreya, who is contesting from Secuderabad Lok Sabha constituency on Sunday. He will cover Secunderabad, Cantonment constituency, Daimond Point and other areas. He will also campaign in Medchal constituency in Hyderabad.
