Actress Lindsay Lohan seems to have dug her own grave by saying that women who share their #MeToo experiences "look weak" and people are not taking this well and are lashing out on her.

During her interview with a British publication, The Times, Lindsay said that she personally has not faced any negative experiences regarding sexual harassment or assault in Hollywood. She said, "I can't speak on something I don't live, right".

She felt that women are much stronger and if they have faced sexual harassment, they must take appropriate actions regarding it.

The former Mean Girls star said, "If it happens at that movement, you discuss it at that movement. You make it a real thing by making it a police report," she said. "I'm going to really hate myself for saying this, but I think women speaking against these things, it makes them look weak when they are very strong women."

She went on to say, "You have these girls who come out, who don't even know who they are, who do it for the attention. That is taking away from the fact that it happened."

Unarguably, people have not received her statement well and have lashed out on her.

The #MeToo movement is a movement against sexual harassment and assault that went viral on social media in October, 2017. It basically meant that women should speak up and talk about their issues using the "Me Too" phrase to give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem.

Lindsay also spoke about her future plans, She revealed that she will soon be moving to Dubai and opening a children's charity. Having experienced money and fame at a very young age because of Hollywood, she has no control over anything that happened.

She explained, "You couldn't control anything yourself. There were just the tabloids, and they were out to get me. I'm now 32. Age changes everything. Understanding who you are, finding out who you are as a person that has been a big factor for me."
