Salman Khan's 2014 film "Kick" was one of the biggest blockbusters and the superstar is now prepping for the film's sequel. While the fact that a sequel to "Kick" is enough to make fans excited, they will be even more happy to know that Salman will have a double role in it.

Confirming the news, Salman has said that director Sajid Nadiadwala is currently working on the film's story.

"Work on the film's script is on. I had only given Sajid the concept and now he is working on the story. The movie will have a double role. It's a mind blowing idea. When he is done with the script and the screenplay, we will take it on the floors," Hindustan Times quoted Salman Khan as saying.

Sajid Nadiadwala is equally excited. "It's a great story that needs to be told. I am working on the storyline, which should be ready in two-three months. Then, we will decide on how and when to take it to the next level."

Salman will be seen in a double role for the second time, the first being in "Judwaa".

Although, he played a double role in "Karan Arjun" also, the roles were not simultaneous in the film. It's interesting to note here that both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan featured in "Karan Arjun" and had double roles in the film.

Interestingly, both Shah Rukh and Salman are now coming back with double roles in their respective upcoming films - SRK in "Fan" and Salman in "Kick" sequel.

It has been confirmed that Salman's "Sultan" and Shah Rukh's "Raees" will clash on 2016 Eid at the box office.

"Fan" is slated to be released in April 2016 and it is likely that Salman's "Kick" sequel will also be released next year. While both the stars are bringing the concept of double roles back, there is a possibility that these two films would be released around the same time.

The movie "Kick" featured Jacqueline Fernandez opposite Salman but the sequel won't have Jacqueline, as confirmed by Salman some days back. The full cast of the movie is yet to be finalised.
